Grace Astruc
Class of 2018

Hi! My name is Grace Astruc, and I am a senior at Saint Gertrude High School. I am a member of my school’s tennis team, and a dancer for The Latin Ballet of Virginia. I love traveling, especially to Europe to visit my Spanish family members. I am also involved in many clubs at school. I love helping people and going on mission trips, so I am really excited to be given this opportunity to work IBAP to help our Nigerian business partner. I think I am a perfect fit for this opportunity because I am aware that we need to learn about new cultures.

Shields Haire
Class of 2018

I’m Shields Haire from Tupelo, MS.  I’m one of the top students at Tupelo High School where I am a part of student council, multiple clubs, and the golf team.

Something that makes me stand out from everyone else is that I received the Prudential Spirit of Community Award which is an award that is based on community service.

In 2014, an EF3 tornado hit my town that destroyed and/or damaged four churches.  I raised almost eight thousand dollars for the churches by making my own t-shirts by selling the shirts at local events and at my school.  I believe one day I will change the world by working with others.

Anna Klosky
Class of 2018

I’m Anna Klosky, and am a senior at Saint Gertrude High School. I have always had a passion for helping others, and am ecstatic to be given this opportunity. With this chance, I hope to expand my horizons, and challenge myself in ways that I haven’t before. I am involved in many extracurricular activities, including soccer, tennis, volunteering at my church’s nursery, and at the Salvation Army. I am a very organized student, and person in general, and love to be on top of things, and make sure everything is to its fullest potential. I am a very kind, generous, and outgoing person, who is easy to talk to. I enjoy getting to know new people.

Harrison Locklear
Class of 2018

My name is Harrison Locklear, and I am a rising senior at Hickory Grove Christian School. In my free time I participate in car events in the local Charlotte area and I play golf.

At my High School I play on the Varsity Golf team, and I have completed 6 year of National Young Leaders and National Junior Young Leader Conferences. I have participated in 3 years of my Churches annual Operation Charlotte where we go around the community and help the people any way we can. A good example of what we did was went and fixed fencing at a local non-profit day care and dug up their broken mailbox and cemented a new one in the old ones place.

This is my first program that is of this length but I have done other NYLC/NJYLC. I am ecstatic to embark on this journey to better people’s lives across the world

My name is Catherine W., and I am excited to be working with the International Business Leadership Summit! I am a rising college freshman going to the University of Florida. Along with challenging myself academically, I challenge my time management skills with my extracurriculars such as community service, school business clubs, and a job at the well known clothing brand Banana Republic. I have enjoyed fashion and beauty my whole life and plan on majoring in Finance with a minor in Fashion Marketing. I am also interested in Criminology and Law. I believe I can help the Security business in Nigeria with my background in community and business. I’ve been to multiple Envision programs and have learned a lot about what it takes to have a successful business. I truly appreciate this rare opportunity I have been given to change global communities for the better.
