Story of the business
Jafi Security Guard Limited came into existence in order to carry out business of security firms of providing physical protection of person and properties. It is fully registered with cooperate affairs commission on the 15th March, 2007 with RC: 684890 and licensed by Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp with license No: NSCDC/PG/009/150 to operate private guard company. The company commence operation on the 1st July, 2007 in University of Maiduguri with 75 personnel after been awarded contract for security services by the university authority. Currently, the company having been successful in its business is now operating with 500 personnel at different locations across the nation.
About The Owner Abubakar Isa
Abubakar founded JAFI Security Guards to help protect the people of Maiduguri from Boko Harem.
From an initial workforce of 75 guards, Abubakar now employees over 500 people, and provides security guards for some of the most high-profile schools in Borno state.
As a player in the security industry, the company has been successful in contributing its quota by providing employment opportunities to many unemployed youth. It has also been consistent in discharging its social responsibilities such as relates to staff welfare and sometimes to their dependents and relatives.
Leia Case Class of 2018
My name is Leia Case, a rising senior attending Nevada Union High School. I am an active member in my community by being heavily engaged in my town fair trade campaign, along with being an active student within the IBAP team.
I personally enjoy the feeling of accomplishment, whether if it’s after a workout, crossing the finishing line at a cross country meet, or even when my team and I are able to help a business partner’s by allowing them to reach their potential goal.
I am very excited to be working with the counterinsurgency team, along with creating new bonds and solutions that can both benefit the business and my team’s relationship with our new business partners.
Kyla Grunden Class of 2019
My name is Kyla G, and I am currently a rising junior. I enjoy challenging myself by taking multiple AP and honors classes as well as striving to better my community through volunteering. I participate in a variety of extracurricular activities, such as Kiwanis International, debate club, and the Explorer Scout Unit Program (junior police officer). I am a determined advocate of gender equality and education rights, and hope to later join organizations like the Human Rights Campaign and Let Girls Learn. I am so excited for this wonderful opportunity to lend aid to others and create a positive impact on our world.
Kimberly Herlihy Class of 2018
My name is Kimberly Herlihy, and I am a rising junior at the Woodward School for Girls. I am a hardworking and dedicated student, who challenges herself by taking AP and honor courses. I have been a member of the student government since freshman year, and hope to continue so until graduation.
I am also an active member in my school, whether it’s volunteering at school events to planning school events with my class, I always find a way to involve myself in something new.
I love to volunteer and help others. I am always involved in some project whether it’s helping special needs kids at my mother’s school, or assisting in the extended year program for rising fifth graders in my town. The feeling of knowing that you made a difference, even if it is a small one, in someone’s life is something that I treasure.
I look forward to helping others with the International Leadership and Business Summit as well as learning and growing with my team during the program!

My name is Blake Spreeman and I am a rising junior at Alta Loma High School. I challenge myself academically by taking many of the extremely rigorous courses
At my school I am apart of our school’s Leadership program as well as on the Tennis Team.
I don’t have very much free time, but when I do i like to volunteer at the local no-kill animal shelter and catch up on sleep.
