National Security & Intelligence Summit
Students have a unique opportunity to work directly with national security experts, learn about the latest intelligence strategies, and implement security strategies to save lives.
Students are coached by professional military leaders to design solutions to security issues facing real communities in the developing world. Students will work directly with security forces protecting communities from terrorism.
In this rigorous internship, students will participate in combat training and tour the FBI and CIA headquarters, the Pentagon, Fort Myer, Fort McNair, the Washington Navy Yard, the Marine Barracks, the State Department, and Andrews Air Force Base.
For their final project, students will design and propose a security strategy to save lives with the help and mentoring of security industry professionals in order to focus and apply their understanding.
Participants will present these proposed strategies to a panel of experts, top strategies will be implemented by actual security companies in the developing world over the following year.
Participants will meet one-on-one with representatives from all branches of the military, federal agencies, military academies, and private companies to learn about the education and career opportunities available to them. 2020 representatives include The National Security Agency, CIA, FBI, Secret Service, West Point, the U.S. Department of State, Navy Seals and the U.S. Air Force Academy.

Use Grant Money To Design
A Security Solution To Save Lives
Intern with a security agency with offices in the developing world and create a security solution that will be implemented over the course of one year. These efforts will counter terrorist activities and potentially save lives.
Participants will receive hand-to-hand combat training, field tactics at a paintball course and intelligence gathering training from military and intelligence experts.
Interns partner with current and former experts from the Pentagon, FBI, CIA, Secret Service, National Security Agency and State Department to assist in creating solutions for their security issue.
Students are coached by professional military leaders to design solutions to security issues facing real communities in the developing world. Students will work directly with security forces protecting communities from terrorism.
Interns will allocate seed money for their security partner using a grant from our top sponsors.
A grant committee with representatives from the Pentagon, Harvard and Leadership Initiatives will evaluate each proposal.
Top solutions, will be selected by the grant committee and receive full funding to see the intern's ideas for their security partner implemented over the course of one year.

Participate In Real Combat Training
Interns receive hands-on experience in combat training and strategy from U.S. Marine drill sergeants.
Training will include hand to hand combat, disarming attackers with weapons and weapons exercises.
Interns travel to a military training paintball course to test tactical and intelligence gathering tactics.
Students will learn about flanking, piercing and pincer maneuvers, along with the importance of leadership and teamwork in a combat setting.
Students choose how to implement a grant designed to assistant a security company in the developing world by creating security solutions for a community affected by the Boko Haram.
Interns will partner with specific mentors and gain hands-on security experience designing new counter-insurgency security solutions with leaders from the CIA, Pentagon, FBI, U.S. Military and more.

Interns will partner with specific mentors and gain hands-on security experience designing new counter-insurgency security solutions with leaders from the CIA, Pentagon, FBI, U.S. Military and more.
Experts will serve as student leadership coaches throughout the week. Interns will work directly with these security leaders to create defined methods and goals on how to support their security partner and save lives.
Interns meet with highly respected civilian policymakers and senior military officers who are responsible for global and national security decisions.
Students will learn directly from security leaders involved in the implementation of national security strategies in a variety of keynote, panel, and small group speaking events.
